Throughout 2009/10, CHIS expanded its role in leading a number of provincial and regional IT/IM projects. Each of these projects share similar goals of improving both the quality and availability of information, which in turn, improves patients’ access to quality health care. Regardless whether a project is specific to one hospital or one organization, CHIS' ultimate goal is to improve the overall patient experience in Erie St. Clair through coordinated planning and collaborative implementation amongst organizations and providers. |
